We had such a fun Easter! It started with Mimi & Papa coming to visit. We kicked off the Easter weekend looking at Lake property and just loved the scenery and our excursions / fish bone hunting With the lake levels being so low we found shells and all sorts of interesting treasures. We then died Easter eggs using foods / spices we had on hand. Our favorites were turmeric and cabbage. We had to leave them soaking overnight to get the colors more vibrant - all and all we thought they were beautiful. After church and some extremely yummy cinnamon rolls (thank you Mimi) we went to a Ranch outside of Marble Falls. You could not ask for prettier weather ( the morning rain storms gave us a bit of a scare). The girls got to hold baby chicks and ducks, see an amazing bird sanctuary and those were just a few of the wonderful animals we experienced. The highlight of the day was all of the yummy food and the horse riding! Adysen was in HeAvEn! As you can see everyone was plumb tuckered out.
